Feeding raw fish
Hi, hello there!
It's been a while since I've last posted anything decent, my apology.
Here's what I did last two weeks (bathing in animals sweatsssss)
First of all, I find it funny to have to pay for a volunteering job, until I experienced people who uses this 'volunteering' opportunity to their greatest advantage (I am guilty of it too). After working for a while, people started to get tired, I mean who won't, but please be mature and responsible. We are university students for God's sake!
Feeding the baby goat ^.^
Of course, they started asking the real keepers (to whom I apologized deeply for our immature, unethical and spontaneous acts) on the 'opportunity' of visiting around. Yes, to my friends/classmates reading this, I am not happy with this decision. We opted for a half-day volunteering work because "Who wants to volunteer for a whole day?!" attitude most of us have and yet they have the guts to ask for a faster release. How am I not supposed to be mad at this?!! Indeed, we were a large group so work was done faster, but did they even asked for any work left? Did they even bother to think of the reasons behind volunteering?
I understand that most of us didn't enjoy serving their time like this. Plus, it is not even a wholesome discussion in this matter. But come on, just because it is not something you want, it is not something you needed. or even something you enjoy doesn't grant you the permission to be so ignorant. Sometimes I wonder if they do not think of the future, or perhaps they think pretty well of it, so advance that they are the head in their work. Imagine being assigned to a task yet you refuse to do it wholeheartedly because why? Oh, it is just not my thing. I am more interesting in other tasks.
Really people. Get the hang of life. Complaining about it is another thing, when you're in the field, please please please at least be professional. Do your job. Hate it, go ramble on it later, AFTER your work is done.
I am still glad I did this though. It's a pleasant experience and I am definitely going back to it!
Till more.
